We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hotel Manager to live on-site and oversee the daily operations of our small hotel in beautiful Julian, CA.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, landscaping and overnight on-call coverage.
- Develop and implement revenue management strategies to maximize revenue.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and regulations of the management company.
- Train and supervise staff members to provide outstanding customer service and cleanliness.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas of the hotel to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to fire codes and other local laws.
- Solicit and secure group business and the like.
Handle all hotel groups.
- Maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other business partners -Process payroll bimonthly -Hire, coach, counsel and train hotel associates -Schedule associates according to business needs -Cover all departments when needed.
-Run the social media pages for the property -Respond to public reviews on any and all outlets Skills:
- Strong guest services skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service - Proficient in budgeting and financial management - Extensive knowledge of hospitality industry practices and trends - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team - Multilingual skills are a plus - Experience in revenue management is highly desirable - Proven track record in hotel management If you are a dynamic individual with a passion for hospitality and a drive for success, we invite you to apply for the position of Hotel Manager.
